The supporters of Piracuruca booed when Locomotiva Futebol Show was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiliam Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Locomotiva Futebol Show's zone, Igor Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Furlan came out of the goal and Igor Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Cardoso in the 16th minute of play forced Locomotiva Futebol Show's goalkeeper Armando Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Piracuruca's Tomás Medeiros in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Tomás Medeiros put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Armando Furlan. Tomás Medeiros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Furlan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Piracuruca's Agnaldo Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Alves in the 54th minute of play. William Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Furlan having to interfere. Agnaldo Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Azevedo in the 61st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Piracuruca's William Cardoso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armando Furlan. That made the score 0-5 after 63 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Medeiros in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Furlan saved Locomotiva Futebol Show from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, William Cardoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piracuruca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Tomás Medeiros in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Armando Furlan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Locomotiva Futebol Show's Alfredão Alagoano got a free kick in the 75th minute. William Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes Locomotiva Futebol Show got a freekick which was hit by Caco Sena. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Tomás Medeiros got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Tomás Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Piracuruca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Medeiros couldn't finish the play. The Locomotiva Futebol Show fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Piracuruca were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
