In the 48th minute Víktor Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rony Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudinho Mandrak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustaw Domaradzki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jefferson Guerra hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Gustaw Domaradzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Bladi in the 90th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Jefferson Guerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Rony Passos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pereirao's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
