Valdemar Moraes hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Matador EC's Ronaldo Pimenta couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pinheirinho EC. When Tião Sá came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Matador EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tião Sá couldn't finish the play. Benedito Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Luan de Queirós made a huge save. Luan de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tião Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Pinheirinho EC booed when Matador EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chiquinho Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tião Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Capixaba charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Capixaba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pinheirinho EC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gilberto Capixaba hit a great ball. With his leg Luan de Queirós managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Matador EC's Benedito Batista fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luan de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 40 minutes into the match, Matador EC's Tião Sá sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luan de Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, a hard, long distance shot from Arnaldo da Fonseca hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Palmeira in the 46th minute of play forced Matador EC's goalkeeper Sandrinho Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmundo Leite during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Matador EC got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Leite. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Pinheirinho EC's Luan de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Batista in the 52nd minute of play. Matador EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Douglas Palmeira 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Douglas Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinheirinho EC's goalkeeper Luan de Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Benedito Batista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luan de Queirós. Pinheirinho EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedito Batista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After 73 played minutes Pinheirinho EC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Capixaba. Tião Sá scored 3-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luan de Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 80 played minutes Pinheirinho EC got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Moraes. In the 81st minute of the match Ronaldo Pimenta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luan de Queirós showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Douglas Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandrinho Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th match minute, Matador EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cícero da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Arnaldo da Fonseca sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Matador EC's Sandrinho Matorin didn't even have to move. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Matador EC had won after a very even match.
