Álvaro Cardozo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dráuzio Catarinense showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. Dráuzio Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Álvaro Cardozo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Macedo in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Dráuzio Catarinense dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Álvaro Cardozo, 3-0. Álvaro Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Luiz Fabiano Pinheiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rony Soeiro. Real Poá FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Fabiano Pinheiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 24 minutes into the game, Real Poá FC's Juan Veiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Álvaro Cardozo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Juan Veiga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Álvaro Cardozo came out and tried to block the shot, but Juan Veiga slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Real Poá FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Pinheiro came free, but Rony Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidney Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Sidney Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Clemente Macedo fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Poá FC's protests and gave Clemente Macedo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Clemente Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute of the match, Fiori Baiano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Álvaro Cardozo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 54th minute, Guga Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Dráuzio Catarinense notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Aston Villa F.C's Álvaro Cardozo. Álvaro Cardozo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aston Villa F.C's Álvaro Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Veiga in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Aston Villa F.C getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Sidney Baptista hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Hortêncio Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Aston Villa F.C defense, Juan Veiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Álvaro Cardozo. The Aston Villa F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Álvaro Cardozo should have stopped the shot. Álvaro Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Catarinense in the 74th minute of play. Álvaro Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori Baiano in the 76th minute of the match. Álvaro Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dráuzio Catarinense hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Tales Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fiori Baiano scored 8-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Álvaro Cardozo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute Clemente Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Macedo in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Juan Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Álvaro Cardozo was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. Real Poá FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
