Saecinza's Delfim de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomás Araújo in the 7th minute of play. Paulo José Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Nicolas Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natã Lucas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Delfim de Godoi made a huge save. After 24 minutes, Fabiano Negri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Padilha FC and the Saecinza players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabiano Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Hermínio Maranhense hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Saecinza's Teodoro Eger broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo José Damião couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Natã Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Natã Lucas came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Padilha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natã Lucas couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilberto Mineiro to make the kick off. Nicolas Hoffmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo José Damião in the 52nd minute. Gilberto Mineiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Hoffmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute Thomás Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfim de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomás Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Jeferson Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Natã Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
