Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sebastião Lago kicked off to start the match. Alfredinho Borges blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafinha Maia having to make a save. When Alfredinho Borges came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the C.A. Juventus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredinho Borges couldn't finish the play. In the 3rd minute, Agnaldo Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubens Eger hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. C.A. Juventus's Remo Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafinha Maia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredinho Borges's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Luiz Fernando da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Alfredinho Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Juventus's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredinho Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafinha Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.A. Juventus's Luiz Fernando da Mata got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, CR.RICARRDO's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredinho Borges came free, but Rafinha Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Agnaldo Barreto fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CR.RICARRDO's protests and gave Agnaldo Barreto a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 40 minutes, Sydney Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CR.RICARRDO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sydney Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastião Lago in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Guimarães saved C.A. Juventus from getting behind. Sebastião Lago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After having played for 48 minutes, Alfredinho Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Juventus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredinho Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredinho Borges was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute, Alfredinho Borges had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Cláudio Sanches fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CR.RICARRDO's protests and gave Cláudio Sanches a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes CR.RICARRDO got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Sanches. Rafinha Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruninho Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Váldson Gaúcho charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Váldson Gaúcho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Peixoto in the 68th minute of play forced CR.RICARRDO's goalkeeper Rafinha Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastião Lago in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicolas Guimarães, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bruninho Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Rafinha Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Juventus. Remo Marquez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rafinha Maia. CR.RICARRDO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rafinha Maia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Augusto Araújo went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to CR.RICARRDO getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Cláudio Sanches hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, C.A. Juventus's Remo Marquez tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Sebastião Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hílton Moura hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Luiz Fernando da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafinha Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruninho Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Sebastião Lago's late challenge caught a C.A. Juventus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastião Lago helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.A. Juventus booed when CR.RICARRDO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. C.A. Juventus had played much better football throughout.
