In the 13th minute Léo Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Virgílio Eger could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which David Pitta however easily saved by the left post. David Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léo Neto in the 15th minute of play. David Pitta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgílio Eger in the 17th minute. Válter Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Gurjao's David Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Neto in the 22nd minute of play. David Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Sá in the 25th minute of play. Leandro Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Gurjao booed when Badajoz SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulinho Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Badajoz SC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Juan Sá hit a great ball. In the 31st minute of the match Antônio Carlos Marinho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Fernandez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Leandro Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gurjao's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Léo Neto scored to the left of an out of position David Pitta, making the score, 3-0. David Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léo Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When Gurjao's Válter Pereira in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Badajoz SC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Gurjao:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Badajoz SC:s goal. Gurjao:s David Pitta showed great skill when he stopped Carlinhos Mello:s penalty. Virgílio Eger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but David Pitta made a huge save.

Válter Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Carlinhos Mello, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 56th minute, Rafa Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Virgílio Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Virgílio Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 played minutes Badajoz SC got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar da Silveira. David Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léo Neto in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute Juan Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Virgílio Eger made a precise shot to the right of David Pitta. Gurjao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Virgílio Eger came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Badajoz SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgílio Eger couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léo Neto in the 83rd minute of play forced Gurjao's goalkeeper David Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Eger in the 85th minute of play. David Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léo Neto in the 86th minute of the match. Léo Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Pitta having to interfere. Rafa Chaves hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Léo Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Virgílio Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. David Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Mota struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Luciano Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gurjao. If Marcel Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Léo Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. David Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Badajoz SC had played much better football throughout.
