Bala Halls started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Mipul Malvadão™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Rodeiro's Fabian Barthez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Sarmento in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Mipul Malvadão™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Quintal to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Mipul Malvadão™ getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Allan Quintal hit a great ball. Bala Halls hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Lúcio Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Claudinho Palmeira's late challenge caught a Rodeiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinho Palmeira helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rodeiro booed when Mipul Malvadão™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Váldson Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Barthez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Váldson Sousa in the 38th minute of play forced Rodeiro's goalkeeper Fabian Barthez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Váldson Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Barthez having to interfere. Angelo de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Fabian Barthez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 minutes, Carlinhos Sabóia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rodeiro and the Mipul Malvadão™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlinhos Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Váldson Sousa made the kick off in the second half. Angelo de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lúcio Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastião Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Barthez having to interfere. In the 86th minute Javiar Rojica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfim Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
