After a rather tough play, Esporte Clube Bahia's João Adolfo Gaspar got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Zé Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Adolfo Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Zé Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esporte Clube Bahia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Prestes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Allan Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute of the match João Pedro Souto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delfim Almeida showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, Zé Prestes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kiko Maciel's late challenge caught a Mipul Malvadão™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kiko Maciel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, Esporte Clube Bahia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko Maciel to maneuver through the defense.
