Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zé Prestes took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Bahia's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Baiano came free, but Natanael Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erasmo Baiano scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natanael Esteves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erasmo Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Natanael Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Claudinho Mazza managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Esporte Clube Bahia's Zé Prestes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zé Prestes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Claudinho Mazza made a huge save. Natanael Esteves came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Portal Hortolândia's Doni Cunha. But to his dismay, Doni Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 42 minutes into the match, Portal Hortolândia's goalkeeper Claudinho Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Prestes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Cunha in the 46th minute of play forced Esporte Clube Bahia's goalkeeper Natanael Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luiz Eduardo Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erasmo Baiano to make the kick off. Claudinho Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Adolfo Gaspar in the 51st minute of the match. When Erasmo Baiano, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 53 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Natanael Esteves was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 57 minutes of play, Portal Hortolândia's Doni Cunha made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natanael Esteves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Doni Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Natanael Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Edward Mielak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portal Hortolândia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Mielak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Doni Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Esteves having to interfere. When Sidney do Vale fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portal Hortolândia's protests and gave Sidney do Vale a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Portal Hortolândia's Sidney do Vale got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rdth minute of the game João Adolfo Gaspar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portal Hortolândia's Claudinho Mazza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th match minute, Esporte Clube Bahia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Urbano to maneuver through the defense. Doni Cunha took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natanael Esteves. Natanael Esteves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Natanael Esteves made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Doni Cunha sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, Portal Hortolândia's Doni Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natanael Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Doni Cunha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Natanael Esteves. That made the score 0-6 in the 91 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matías Gerber during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
