Zé Prestes took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorian Sergipano. The Esporte Clube Bahia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After the first half Esporte Clube Bahia were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Natã Zonta to strike the kick off in the second half.
