Francisco Cesaro took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kléberson Cavalcante. Kléberson Cavalcante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 11 minutes, Valério Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayern de Magia and the A.E. ARAÇATUBA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bayern de Magia getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Valério Queirós hit a great ball. Bayern de Magia's Noel Quintal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Bayern de Magia from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Velasco in the 14th minute of play forced Bayern de Magia's goalkeeper Noel Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sandrinho Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alkın Tanırcan hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Bayern de Magia's goalkeeper Noel Quintal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiaguinho Zonta. In the 35th minute, Sandrinho Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47 played minutes A.E. ARAÇATUBA got a freekick which was hit by Erivaldo Silveira. After the first half Bayern de Magia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tiaguinho Zonta made the kick off in the second half. Francisco Cesaro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kléberson Cavalcante came out and tried to block the shot, but Francisco Cesaro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiaguinho Zonta in the 57th minute of play forced Bayern de Magia's goalkeeper Noel Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Francisco Cesaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bayern de Magia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Valério Queirós hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Arkadiy Medved hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bayern de Magia's goalkeeper Noel Quintal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A.E. ARAÇATUBA's Paulo José de Souza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Manuel Moreira in the 77 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiaguinho Zonta in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noel Quintal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Bayern de Magia booed when A.E. ARAÇATUBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kléberson Cavalcante was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Manuel Moreira. After having played for 85 minutes, Francisco Cesaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bayern de Magia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Cesaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kléberson Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Cesaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kléberson Cavalcante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Cesaro ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bayern de Magia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
