During the 92nd minute of the match Tony Hoffmann completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tony Hoffmann a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Tony Hoffmann hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When Diamantino Cabral fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trivella FC's protests and gave Diamantino Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Divinopolis had played much better football throughout.
