The referee showed Narciso Sergipano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Narciso Sergipano hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Narciso Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Curucamba booed when A.E. ARAÇATUBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiaguinho Zonta struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Márcio Mazza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.E. ARAÇATUBA. Deivid Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, A.E. ARAÇATUBA's goalkeeper Kléberson Cavalcante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deivid Freitas. Kléberson Cavalcante made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Deivid Freitas sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, A.E. ARAÇATUBA's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Brandao came free, but Kléberson Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st match minute, A.E. Kléberson Cavalcante came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Curucamba's Arlindo Luz. But to his dismay, Arlindo Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Tiaguinho Zonta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Márcio Mazza having to make a save. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curucamba's goalkeeper Márcio Mazza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A.E. ARAÇATUBA's Kléberson Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deivid Freitas in the 67th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Deivid Freitas notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of A.E. ARAÇATUBA's Kléberson Cavalcante. Kléberson Cavalcante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 74 minutes of play, Curucamba's Deivid Freitas made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kléberson Cavalcante was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kléberson Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Luz in the 77th minute of the match. Kléberson Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Brandao, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 88 minutes into the game, when Gugu Couto put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in A.E. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Curucamba fully deserved thier win.
