When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Norberto Peres sped through Vagabundos do MZ F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mané Pereira. A collision led to Braian Fagundes Craque getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Percival Meireles hit a great ball. Perivaldo Mangueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiaguinho Vasconcelos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norberto Peres in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mané Pereira saved Vagabundos do MZ F.C. from getting behind. Norberto Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Pereira having to interfere. In the 30thth minute of the game Norberto Peres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vagabundos do MZ F.C.'s Mané Pereira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mané Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enoch Harrington in the 36th minute of play. Norberto Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mané Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Peres in the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Vagabundos do MZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Peres came free, but Mané Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vagabundos do MZ F.C.'s José Carlos Leme got a free kick in the 47th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Perivaldo Mangueira to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norberto Peres in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mané Pereira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute, Enoch Harrington got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norberto Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mané Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norberto Peres in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mané Pereira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Enoch Harrington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Norberto Peres kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mané Pereira. That made the score 1-3 in the 70 minute of play. In the 74th minute, Vagabundos do MZ F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Norberto Peres fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mané Pereira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norberto Peres in the 75th minute. After taking down the ball on Braian Fagundes Craque's corner Bora Bill fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mané Pereira quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Perivaldo Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
