Diego Alves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorival Trancoso went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimir Lima made a kick off. Diego Alves was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Dorival Trancoso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Diego Alves. 85 minutes into the match, S.E.R Vila Maria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Trancoso came free, but Diego Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimir Lima in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio Roberto saved GUIRICEMA from getting behind. Miguel Trancoso hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Diego Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Trancoso in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, S.E.R Vila Maria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Nechifor Tomoiu hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Joélson Seco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diego Alves. S.E.R Vila Maria FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The S.E.R Vila Maria FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GUIRICEMA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
