After a rather tough play, GUIRICEMA's Osvaldinho de Lara got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Cássio Roberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. With a little luck, Pirates F.C's William Fontes got control of the ball when Márcio Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Márcio Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival Trancoso in the 11th minute of the match. Márcio Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorival Trancoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Fontes having to make a save. Cristian de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Dorival Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Fontes having to interfere. Márcio Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. William Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vitório Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pirates F.C's protests and gave Vitório Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Vitório Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorival Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorian Romero made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Márcio Ramalho notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Pirates F.C's William Fontes. William Fontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Márcio Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Fontes having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Márcio Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. GUIRICEMA's supporters rose to their feet, but Márcio Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Fontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Márcio Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. William Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Trancoso in the 69th minute of play forced Pirates F.C's goalkeeper William Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorival Trancoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over William Fontes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dorival Trancoso ran back to his position shaking his head. Dorival Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
