Ricardo Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute Vladimir Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arí Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Caco Toledo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of G. LINS 4EVER's Arí Vaz. Arí Vaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Qwinton charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Qwinton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, S.E.R Vila Maria FC's Benito Qwinton got a free kick in the 20th minute. G. LINS 4EVER's Arí Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Lima in the 24th minute of play. Miguel Trancoso scored 1-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arí Vaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Dracena in the 31st minute of play forced S.E.R Vila Maria FC's goalkeeper Diego Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to S.E.R Vila Maria FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Juvenal de Souza hit a great ball. Vladimir Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Arí Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Vladimir Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arí Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Vladimir Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E.R Vila Maria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arí Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Ribeiro in the 55th minute of play. Vladimir Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Arí Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Murilo de Salles came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the G. LINS 4EVER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murilo de Salles couldn't finish the play. With 67 minutes on the clock, Edgar Moreno commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for G. LINS 4EVER! Alfredinho Cordeiro hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. G. S.E.R Vila Maria FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
