The supporters of A.C. Doutrina Milanista booed when Pirates F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabinho Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, A.C. Doutrina Milanista's Abdulkerim Akgündüz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that William Fontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Abdulkerim Akgündüz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of William Fontes. Pirates F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdulkerim Akgündüz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, A.C. Doutrina Milanista's goalkeeper Juan Ignacio Oropesa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Linhares. The audience was convinced that Abdulkerim Akgündüz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but William Fontes was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Pirates F.C's Dorian Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Pirates F.C got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Cavalcante. In the 22ndth minute of the game Abdulkerim Akgündüz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirates F.C's William Fontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. William Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulkerim Akgündüz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Ignacio Oropesa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artur Linhares went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Silvinho Quadros charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvinho Quadros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Abdulkerim Akgündüz sped through Pirates F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of William Fontes. William Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson Mendonça in the 38th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Abdulkerim Akgündüz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William Fontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Linhares in the 54th minute of play forced A.C. Doutrina Milanista's goalkeeper Juan Ignacio Oropesa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg William Fontes managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when A.C. Doutrina Milanista's Abdulkerim Akgündüz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Abdulkerim Akgündüzs short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got William Fontes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tiago Gabriel Aparecido took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for William Fontes. Pirates F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abdulkerim Akgündüz in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of William Fontes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 70 in the game by Abdulkerim Akgündüz from a close distance when the talented William Fontes managed to make a qualified save. Pirates F.C's players were relieved. Artur Linhares hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When Abdulkerim Akgündüz came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the A.C. Doutrina Milanista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdulkerim Akgündüz couldn't finish the play. Abdulkerim Akgündüz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kléberson Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Fontes having to interfere.
