In the 16th minute, Duarte Pires made a precise shot to the right of Dito Hoffmann. Pirates F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, Pirates F.C's 郝志坤 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Luís Teixeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 30thth minute of the game Arnaldo Gaur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TETEIA FC's André Luís Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Pirates F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro Alvarenga came free, but Dito Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37thth minute of the game Gil Saldanha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TETEIA FC's André Luís Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Pirates F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 郝志坤 succeeded in the game's 47th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gil Saldanha to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in TETEIA FC's zone, 郝志坤 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luís Teixeira came out of the goal and 郝志坤 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 97 minutes, Edgar Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TETEIA FC and the Pirates F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card.
