In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Limão Com Mel's goalkeeper Erik Cordeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Samuel Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Machado in the 10th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as MICHELMI's Ulysses de Mendonça slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erik Cordeiro. That made the score 1-2 after 45 minutes of play. The MICHELMI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Limão Com Mel were winning 1-2.

51 minutes into the match, Michel de Sena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Coelho. MICHELMI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michel de Sena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Michel de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Coelho having to interfere. When Fiori Cordeiro fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MICHELMI's protests and gave Fiori Cordeiro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MICHELMI's Fiori Cordeiro got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Ulysses de Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the MICHELMI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulysses de Mendonça couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Limão Com Mel booed when MICHELMI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fiori Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jefferson Luz fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limão Com Mel's protests and gave Jefferson Luz a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 minutes of play, MICHELMI's Ulysses de Mendonça made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Cordeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The MICHELMI fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Limão Com Mel were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
