The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauro Brasil was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Jacobina FC's Yan Seco threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tiago Dias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 84 played minutes Jacobina FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Dias. The audience was convinced that Valdemar Baptista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Berger was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Lucas Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobina FC were furious when Laerte Pinheiro was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Laerte Pinheiro hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vilhena SS had won after a very even match.
