Elias Garcia might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yan Seco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Garcia ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute, Pedro Augusto Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílton Coutinho having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Brasil got free with Amílton Coutinho in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andreza's Amílton Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Leite in the 15th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Zacarias Pirani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Andreza and the Vilhena SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Andreza's Zacarias Pirani got a free kick in the 24th minute. Amílton Coutinho acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from José Perez. Amílton Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Amílton Coutinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Brasil went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 34 minutes into the game, Valdemar Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vilhena SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Andreza the free kick. Valdemar Baptista hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Elias Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Brasil in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílton Coutinho saved Andreza from getting behind. 43 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio Rossi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Yan Seco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauro Brasil was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th match minute, Vilhena SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Prestes to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Vilhena SS's goalkeeper Yan Seco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cléberson Saraiva. Amílton Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amílton Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Amílton Coutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Leite in the 67th minute of play. Amílton Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Andreza's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Baptista came free, but Amílton Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amílton Coutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Brasil in the 72nd minute of play. In the 81st minute, Cléberson Saraiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Andreza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Wiliam Lira hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vilhena SS's zone, Luiz Fábio Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yan Seco came out of the goal and Luiz Fábio Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
