Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Beto Santos got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Calheiros's goalkeeper Roberto Leme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Beto Santos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Macedonia's Gilberto Azevedo. Gilberto Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13thth minute of the game Leonardo Leite who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calheiros's Roberto Leme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Iuri Mangueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Azevedo. Macedonia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iuri Mangueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Macedonia's Gilberto Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri Mangueira in the 21st minute of play. With splendid footwork Leonardo Leite arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-2 by the left pole in the game's 23rd minute. Leonardo Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Roberto Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iuri Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Neiva in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Beto Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Macedonia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Calheiros were winning 1-3.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Leonardo Leite who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calheiros's Roberto Leme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 56 played minutes Macedonia got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Gaspar. When Didi Chaves came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Macedonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Didi Chaves couldn't finish the play. Marcel Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Macedonia booed when Calheiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romário Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Gabriel Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macedonia's protests and gave Gabriel Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Macedonia's Gabriel Paranaense got a free kick in the 71st minute. Marcel Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Leme having to interfere. Gilberto Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Iuri Mangueira sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Macedonia's Gilberto Azevedo got control of the ball when Pedro Luís Furtado tried to sneak it across the goal line.
