When Gabriel Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macedonia's protests and gave Gabriel Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. 7 minutes into the match, Macedonia's goal looked a bit too open when Christian de Senna came free, but Gilberto Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Macedonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cido Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Luís Gustavo Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 85 minutes, Nilton Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alhandra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilton Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dida Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd match minute, Macedonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Chaves to maneuver through the defense. The Macedonia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Alhandra's performance. The match ended with a win for Alhandra.
