Spectators: 7364 (Terracing: 5628, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 10) Madury FC's João Pedro Vidal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Adelino Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfredo Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Madury FC defense, Luiz Gustavo Urbano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manfredo Faria. The Madury FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manfredo Faria should have stopped the shot. Luiz Gustavo Urbano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Spinach the Sailor's Ditlev Bicer got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, João Pedro Vidal sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Spinach the Sailor's Werner Gjettermann didn't even have to move. In the 17th minute Horácio Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfredo Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Madury FC got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Paranaense. 23 minutes into the match, Madury FC's João Pedro Vidal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Werner Gjettermann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Umberto Paranaense scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Werner Gjettermann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Pedro Vidal couldn't finish the play. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Horácio Tinoco made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Charles Carioca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ditlev Bicer charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ditlev Bicer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Spinach the Sailor getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ditlev Bicer hit a great ball. Werner Gjettermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro Vidal in the 59th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes Spinach the Sailor got a freekick which was hit by Ditlev Bicer. After a defensive mix-up in Spinach the Sailor's zone, Alfredinho da Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Werner Gjettermann came out of the goal and Alfredinho da Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st match minute, Madury FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Esteves to maneuver through the defense. Umberto Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Gjettermann having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Pedro Vidal in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Waldemar Bezerra succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. In the 95th minute, Spinach the Sailor's Horácio Tinoco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manfredo Faria. Manfredo Faria yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Despite being the better team, Madury FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
