The supporters of Casjun FC booed when Alhandra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casjun FC's Décio Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dida Moura in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Casjun FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Dida Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Gilmar Lira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alhandra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Casjun FC the free kick. The supporters of Casjun FC booed when Alhandra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilmar Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th match minute, Alhandra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Alhandra's Guto Eger suffered a concussion after 26 minutes and had to leave the field. Renan Matorin charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renan Matorin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Gilmar Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vágner Barbosa in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Gustavo Neto saved Alhandra from getting behind. When Murillo Schmidt came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Casjun FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murillo Schmidt couldn't finish the play. In the 38th match minute, Alhandra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes Casjun FC got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Carneiro. Murillo Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casjun FC's Décio Carioca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Casjun FC from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vágner Barbosa made a kick off. Murillo Schmidt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Luís Gustavo Neto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Alhandra getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Bernardinho Vides hit a great ball. Vágner Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Luís Gustavo Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Gustavo Neto made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Vágner Barbosa sent off a good shot on target. Décio Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo de Almeida in the 92nd minute of play forced Casjun FC's goalkeeper Décio Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Rodolfo de Almeida ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Décio Carioca was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.
