After 37 minutes of play, Manaus FC's Conrado Figueiredo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermínio Vidal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute Osvaldinho Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermínio Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Transvaal getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Renan de Medeiros hit a great ball. Transvaal's Hermínio Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Camargo in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Manaus FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
