The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the match, Guilherme Carioca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dário Cavalcante. E.C Foz Do Iguaçu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilherme Carioca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. E.C Foz Do Iguaçu's Dário Cavalcante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save E.C Foz Do Iguaçu from getting a goal against them. Dário Cavalcante came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Capão Bonito's Sol Wiseman. But to his dismay, Sol Wiseman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Sol Wiseman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in E.C Foz Do Iguaçu's zone, Mathias Pena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dário Cavalcante came out of the goal and Mathias Pena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute Dedé Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, E.C Foz Do Iguaçu's Alessandro Neiva got a free kick in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Guilherme Carioca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dário Cavalcante. The wind increased when Celsinho Mattos made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Alessandro Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 played minutes Capão Bonito got a freekick which was hit by Valério de Amorim. 58 minutes into the match, Capão Bonito's goalkeeper Almir Urbano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dedé Meira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Pena in the 60th minute of play forced E.C Foz Do Iguaçu's goalkeeper Dário Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sol Wiseman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dário Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sol Wiseman in the 67th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, E.C Foz Do Iguaçu's goal looked a bit too open when Sol Wiseman came free, but Dário Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandro Neiva hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match.
