Pinto's Samuca Pena was substituted for José Rodrigues. Luís Paulo de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Samuca Pena succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 44th playminute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Giovanni Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umberto Moreira in the 65th minute of the match. Giovanni Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe de Souza in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pinto's Samuca Pena got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Teodoro Guerrero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdo Fernandes in the 83rd minute. Lúcio Sabóia charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lúcio Sabóia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Languiru SC booed when Pinto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe de Souza in the 95th minute of play forced Languiru SC's goalkeeper Giovanni Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
