When Hudson Dante came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the JESUS TE AMA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hudson Dante couldn't finish the play. Hudson Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrézinho Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Falcão Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, JESUS TE AMA FC's Elias Cordeiro got control of the ball when José Maria Campidelis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Falcão Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Falcão Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldão Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Christian Mattos might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Falcão Goiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Mattos ran back to his position shaking his head. Elias Cordeiro made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Amílton Oliveira sent off a good shot on target. Ronaldão Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Goiano having to interfere. When Andrézinho Bertassi came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the JESUS TE AMA FC fans jumped to their feet. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noel Neves in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Cordeiro saved JESUS TE AMA FC from getting behind. If Christian Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes JESUS TE AMA FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Bertassi. In the 46th minute Ronaldão Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrézinho Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Andrézinho Bertassi made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Christian Mattos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrézinho Bertassi got free with Falcão Goiano in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th match minute, Campestre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Maria Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Campestre's zone, Christian Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Falcão Goiano came out of the goal and Christian Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Andrézinho Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot. JESUS TE AMA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrézinho Bertassi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Falcão Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elias Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Campidelis in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Arruda in the 71st minute of play forced JESUS TE AMA FC's goalkeeper Elias Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, JESUS TE AMA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Neves came free, but Elias Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrézinho Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. In the 81st minute Christian Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Campestre's goalkeeper Falcão Goiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldão Cosme. JESUS TE AMA FC's Christian Mattos got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91 minutes, Rubinho Lara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campestre and the JESUS TE AMA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rubinho Lara hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Rui Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Carlos Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Campestre were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of JESUS TE AMA FC for a fine match.
