Valdemar Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo da Cunha having to interfere. Tião Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Anderstrong F.C.'s goalkeeper Ivo da Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The goalkeeper, Ivo da Cunha, was totally fooled by Carona AD's Bernardinho Aparecido, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
