Wanderson de Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horácio de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the game, David Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thunderstruck FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lendários Boleiros the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Thunderstruck FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Thunderstruck FC! In the 27th minute, Pedro Augusto Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Thunderstruck FC's zone, Horácio de Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wanderson de Salles came out of the goal and Horácio de Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emerson Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Lopez's late challenge caught a Lendários Boleiros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Lopez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lendários Boleiros booed when Thunderstruck FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wanderson de Salles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horácio de Lara's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Thunderstruck FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio de Lara came free, but Wanderson de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Thunderstruck FC's zone, Horácio de Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wanderson de Salles came out of the goal and Horácio de Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Thunderstruck FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Amaral came free, but Wanderson de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emerson Amaral struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Wanderson de Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lendários Boleiros. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Kauã Dracena made the kick off in the second half. Thunderstruck FC's Wanderson de Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Thunderstruck FC from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Horácio de Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Horácio de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Dracena in the 73rd minute of play forced Lendários Boleiros's goalkeeper Alessandro Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulisses Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Mesquita having to interfere. Wanderson de Salles made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Horácio de Lara sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the match, Thunderstruck FC's Kauã Dracena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessandro Mesquita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zé Roberto Corrêa hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Lendários Boleiros's Alessandro Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauã Dracena in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Thunderstruck FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. Emerson Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson de Salles having to interfere. The Thunderstruck FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lendários Boleiros were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
