Marcinho Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Vermudo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marcinho Figueiredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 12 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Vermudo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcinho Figueiredo. BotaFire FR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dalmacio Vermudo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 15 minutes, Dalmacio Vermudo made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. BotaFire FR's Marcinho Figueiredo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind BotaFire FR's goalkeeper Marcinho Figueiredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute Wellington Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcinho Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Grêmio Santo André's Ernani Ribeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcinho Figueiredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Ernani Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Marcinho Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcinho Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Vaz in the 34th minute of play. After 35 minutes of play, Grêmio Santo André's Dalmacio Vermudo made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcinho Figueiredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Wellington Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcinho Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Vermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcinho Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Vermudo in the 43rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Santo André's Lauro Vaz got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 47 minutes of play, Grêmio Santo André's Dalmacio Vermudo made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcinho Figueiredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Dalmacio Vermudo made a precise shot to the right of Marcinho Figueiredo. BotaFire FR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. 59 minutes into the match, Grêmio Santo André's Dalmacio Vermudo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcinho Figueiredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ernani Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd minute, Dalmacio Vermudo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcinho Figueiredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. BotaFire FR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Dalmacio Vermudo scored to the left of an out of position Marcinho Figueiredo, making the score, 0-10. Dalmacio Vermudo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Marcinho Figueiredo made a huge save. Marcinho Figueiredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernani Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Dalmacio Vermudo had several of the BotaFire FR's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-12 score and a disappointed Marcinho Figueiredo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Marcinho Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Ribeiro in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Ernani Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio Santo André's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernani Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 played minutes Ernani Ribeiro rounded BotaFire FR's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-13. Grêmio Santo André's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
