An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Bertassi in the 13th minute of play forced ROMANDRIA's goalkeeper Anıl Berk Asıf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Roger Henriks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of ROMANDRIA booed when JESUS TE AMA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Przemyslaw Czerny in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Cordeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the game, JESUS TE AMA FC's Ronaldão Cosme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anıl Berk Asıf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Anıl Berk Asıf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Hermes in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ROMANDRIA's zone, Andrézinho Bertassi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anıl Berk Asıf came out of the goal and Andrézinho Bertassi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raúl Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Anıl Berk Asıf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrézinho Bertassi to make the kick off. Anıl Berk Asıf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrézinho Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Christian Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Berk Asıf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Przemyslaw Czerny charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Przemyslaw Czerny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. ROMANDRIA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
