When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Dalmacio Vermudo sped through Thunderstruck FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wanderson de Salles. Wanderson de Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Nascimento went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Dalmacio Vermudo sped through Thunderstruck FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wanderson de Salles. Wanderson de Salles came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio Santo André's Dalmacio Vermudo. But to his dismay, Dalmacio Vermudo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Felipe Damião hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Grêmio Santo André's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dalmacio Vermudo in the 32nd minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Ernani Ribeiro advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-6 in the 32nd minute. After some careless play in the Thunderstruck FC defense, Ernani Ribeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wanderson de Salles. The Thunderstruck FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wanderson de Salles should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Ernani Ribeiro notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Thunderstruck FC's Wanderson de Salles. Wanderson de Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Thunderstruck FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rodrigo Ribeiro hit a great ball. Wanderson de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Vaz in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

51 minutes into the match, Ernani Ribeiro notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Thunderstruck FC's Wanderson de Salles. Wanderson de Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Vermudo got free with Wanderson de Salles in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute of the match Grêmio Santo André got a corner. Thunderstruck FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dalmacio Vermudo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Bernie Strauss heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 61st minute, Grêmio Santo André's Jeferson Santana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Dalmacio Vermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dalmacio Vermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 67 minutes of play, Grêmio Santo André's Dalmacio Vermudo made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wanderson de Salles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernani Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Wanderson de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wanderson de Salles made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Santiago Oliverio sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th match minute, Thunderstruck FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernani Ribeiro in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wanderson de Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodrigo Ribeiro's late challenge caught a Grêmio Santo André's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. Rodrigo Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. A long shot from Dalmacio Vermudo in the 93rd minute of play was well struck, but Wanderson de Salles made a really good save at the right post. Grêmio Santo André played a much better game than Thunderstruck FC and deserved their victory. The Thunderstruck FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
