But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horácio de Lara couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Renatinho Furtado was the one to do the kick off. Lendários Boleiros's Alessandro Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renatinho Furtado in the 52nd minute of play. Emerson Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo da Cunha having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emerson Amaral in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivo da Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivo da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio de Lara in the 63rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Anderstrong F.C.'s Ivo da Cunha got control of the ball when Horácio de Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Zé Roberto Corrêa took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Ivo da Cunha to make any attempt to save it. Edu Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Horácio de Laras short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Ivo da Cunha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Anderstrong F.C.'s Ivo da Cunha got control of the ball when Horácio de Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, Anderstrong F.C.'s Zézinho Vinhas made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Mesquita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anderstrong F.C.'s Edu Baiano suffered a sore thigh after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Zé Roberto Corrêa charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Roberto Corrêa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Horácio de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo da Cunha having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lendários Boleiros eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
