In the 10th minute, Eriberto Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Carona AD's goalkeeper Rubens Breckenfeld had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Ceresso. 16 minutes into the match, Carona AD's Tião Pena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcinho Figueiredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Charles Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 20 minutes, Cipriano Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
