Hortêncio Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Amadeu Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Senna in the 21st minute of play forced Clube Salvador City's goalkeeper Felippe Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Clube Salvador City getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Caco Furtado hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cláudio Mattos in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hortêncio Vieira saved Milan from getting behind. Milan's Hortêncio Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Linares in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Milan's Amadeu Senna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felippe Tavares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Senna in the 35th minute of play forced Clube Salvador City's goalkeeper Felippe Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Renan de Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Felippe Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani do Valle in the 81st minute of play. Felippe Tavares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Pimenta went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Milan had played much better football throughout.
