An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Macedo in the 6th minute of play forced Clube Salvador City's goalkeeper Felippe Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlinhos Bezerra scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felippe Tavares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clube Salvador City's Felippe Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Peres in the 14th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Maciel during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes SantasticFC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Maciel. After 23 played minutes, SantasticFC's Luiz Alcântara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felippe Tavares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SantasticFC reached it. Cafu Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Felippe Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Clube Salvador City defense, Arnaldo Macedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felippe Tavares. The Clube Salvador City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felippe Tavares should have stopped the shot. Felippe Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Téo Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Mattos in the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Macedo in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felippe Tavares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the match, Clube Salvador City's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Macedo came free, but Felippe Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Carlinhos Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felippe Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Macedo in the 42nd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Clube Salvador City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! In the 47th minute there was a penalty for SantasticFC. Cafu Peres stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Felippe Tavares. 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Arnaldo Macedo made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Arnaldo Macedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felippe Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Macedo in the 54th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cafu Peres kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felippe Tavares. That made the score 0-5 in the 56 minute of play. The supporters of Clube Salvador City booed when SantasticFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd play minute Arnaldo Macedo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Felippe Tavares. 0-6. Clube Salvador City's Felippe Tavares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Salvador City from getting a goal against them. Arnaldo Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luiz Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SantasticFC's protests and gave Luiz Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SantasticFC's Luiz Alcântara got a free kick in the 70th minute. Felippe Tavares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cafu Peres in the 73rd minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Carlinhos Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SantasticFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlinhos Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felippe Tavares acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 76th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luiz Alcântara. Felippe Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Macedo in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Macedo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felippe Tavares. Arnaldo Macedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Léo Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute Luís Gustavo Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute Arnaldo Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When SantasticFC's Arnaldo Macedo in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clube Salvador City's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle sounded SantasticFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Clube Salvador City.
