Nestor Abraão helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute Fellipe Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir Corrêa in the 44th minute of play. If Léo de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Ferraz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Almir Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Fernando Meirelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fellipe Messias in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Meirelles saved Calibres FC from getting behind. Almir Corrêa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Meirelles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Dário Paraense hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
