After a rather tough play, IbiquaraPR's Luisão da Costa got a free kick in the 6th minute. A collision led to Sambaitiba getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Edvaldo Coelho hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in IbiquaraPR's zone, Leopoldo Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilmar Neto came out of the goal and Leopoldo Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The IbiquaraPR support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
