If Matías de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Ailton Barrios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vai Dá Ruim's supporters rose to their feet, but Ailton Barrios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaltino Rossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guilherme de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaltino Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nildo Macedo in the 27th minute of the match. Guilherme de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Marinho in the 30th minute of play. Chateaubriand's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Ailton Barrios scored to the left of an out of position Isaltino Rossi, making the score, 1-1. In the 36th minute Matías de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guilherme de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 38 minutes, Rodolfo Luz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vai Dá Ruim and the Chateaubriand players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vai Dá Ruim booed when Chateaubriand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chateaubriand's Isaltino Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ailton Barrios in the 85th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Vai Dá Ruim's Ailton Barrios made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaltino Rossi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erik Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme de Medeiros having to interfere. Guilherme de Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Matías de Castro sent off a good shot on target. Isaltino Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ailton Barrios, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chateaubriand fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 100th minute. Penalty!
