Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chiquinho Marinho kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, Narciso Dias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaltino Rossi. Chateaubriand's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narciso Dias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Narciso Dias came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Mayhem Sharks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Dias couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, Narciso Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mayhem Sharks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 26th minute Mayhem Sharks were awarded a corner. Marcelino Segio went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mayhem Sharks's corner Narciso Dias fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Isaltino Rossi quite easily take care of the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Narciso Dias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Isaltino Rossi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Narciso Dias might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaltino Rossi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Dias ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Dias in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaltino Rossi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Chateaubriand's zone, Narciso Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaltino Rossi came out of the goal and Narciso Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaltino Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Dias in the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Mayhem Sharks booed when Chateaubriand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Mayhem Sharks were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelino Segio was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Chateaubriand booed when Mayhem Sharks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomás Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 minutes of play, Mayhem Sharks's Marcelino Segio made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaltino Rossi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Narciso Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mayhem Sharks's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaltino Rossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelino Segio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Isaltino Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Mayhem Sharks's Marcelino Segio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isaltino Rossi. Isaltino Rossi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Narciso Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaltino Rossi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Dias in the 68th minute. Isaltino Rossi was a little too slow when Osvaldo da Mata got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-10. In the 72nd minute, Narciso Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mayhem Sharks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. Narciso Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Isaltino Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes of play, Mayhem Sharks's Narciso Dias made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaltino Rossi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the match, Mayhem Sharks's Marcelino Segio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaltino Rossi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcelino Segio took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaltino Rossi. Isaltino Rossi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. The crowd rose to their feet as Narciso Dias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isaltino Rossi. That made the score 0-14 in the 89 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mayhem Sharks's Thomás Mandrak got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute, Elivélton Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaltino Rossi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Dias in the 97th minute. The Chateaubriand fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mayhem Sharks were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
