Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Guaracy's Laerte Vides started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Róbson Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 6 minutes, Laerte Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guaracy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laerte Vides was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnaldo Martins took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Barreto. Daniel Barreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Carlos Eduardo Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 15 played minutes GALAXY RANGERS got a freekick which was hit by Durval Trigo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Martins in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Barreto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnaldo Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Martins in the 36th minute of play forced Guaracy's goalkeeper Daniel Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Arnaldo Martins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Barreto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Daniel Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Martins in the 45th minute of play. Telmo Eger charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Telmo Eger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Guaracy getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Telmo Eger hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Carlos Eduardo Matorin might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Barreto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Eduardo Matorin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guaracy's goalkeeper Daniel Barreto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Barreto was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Arnaldo Martins capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnaldo Martins really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Róbson Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, GALAXY RANGERS's Jeremias Arantes got a free kick in the 64th minute. Luisão Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Vides in the 74th minute of play. Guaracy's Daniel Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Matorin in the 76th minute of play. Arnaldo Martins received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Barreto came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnaldo Martins slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 82nd minute. When Róbson Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Guaracy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Róbson Velasco couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, GALAXY RANGERS's goal looked a bit too open when Róbson Velasco came free, but Luisão Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded GALAXY RANGERS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guaracy.
