Gabriel Pereira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vitinho Palmeira came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by 40 Below Summer's Váldson Koehler. But to his dismay, Váldson Koehler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lúcio Donato's late challenge caught a 40 Below Summer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lúcio Donato helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PEREBAH FC's Lúcio Donato got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Anderson Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Dinei Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Pereira. 40 Below Summer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dinei Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 34 minutes into the match, 40 Below Summer's goal looked a bit too open when Dida Antunes came free, but Gabriel Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes, Hernani Tinoco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 40 Below Summer and the PEREBAH FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hernani Tinoco hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Marcelinho Melo charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelinho Melo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Dinei Barbosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PEREBAH FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 47 minutes into the game, Dida Antunes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Gabriel Pereira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dinei Barbosa to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Melo in the 53rd minute of play forced PEREBAH FC's goalkeeper Vitinho Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute of the match, Dida Antunes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gabriel Pereira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 40 Below Summer's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Dinei Barbosa scored to the left of an out of position Gabriel Pereira, making the score, 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dida Antunes got free with Gabriel Pereira in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Pereira was a little too slow when Dida Antunes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-8.
