Basarab Vrânceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Carlos Alberto da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes, Tabajara FC's Flávio Monsanto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Alberto da Costa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tabajara FC reached it. Patrick Neiva hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes, Flávio Monsanto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tabajara FC and the Valeria S players grew even worse after the yellow card. William de Almeida took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Alberto da Costa. Valeria S's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When William de Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tabajara FC's protests and gave William de Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. Valeria S made a substitution. Joaquim Saldanha replaced Amadeu Vander. William de Almeida hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Jorginho Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Carlos Alberto da Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basarab Vrânceanu's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. When Patrick Neiva fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valeria S's protests and gave Patrick Neiva a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos Alberto da Costa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Flávio Monsanto. Basarab Vrânceanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Carlos Alberto da Costa made a huge save. In the 63rd minute Tabajara FC were awarded a corner. William de Almeida went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Tabajara FC's corner William de Almeida fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlos Alberto da Costa quite easily take care of the ball. Célio Eger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Basarab Vrânceanu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Mário Valladares sped through Tabajara FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Célio Eger. After 95 minutes, Adriano Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valeria S and the Tabajara FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Valeria S was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Reis to maneuver through the defense. Valeria S walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
