With a couple of smart ball manuevers Göran Ekberg in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo de Almeida saved Pirarema AD from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as FIEL TUPÃ's Birol Refet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo de Almeida. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Ricardo de Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Birol Refet's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. FIEL TUPÃ's Geovanni Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Alagoano in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Leonel Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirarema AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovanni Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 17 played minutes FIEL TUPÃ got a freekick which was hit by Omar Morera. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Alagoano in the 18th minute of play forced FIEL TUPÃ's goalkeeper Geovanni Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Arruda having to interfere. Cacá Carioca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ricardo de Almeida made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Birol Refet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo de Almeida. That made the score 3-0 in the 31 minute of play. The supporters of FIEL TUPÃ booed when Pirarema AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Leonel Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

54 minutes into the match, FIEL TUPÃ's goalkeeper Geovanni Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juninho Negri. Edgar Nóbrega's late challenge caught a Pirarema AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Nóbrega helped the player get up and apologised. After 57 played minutes FIEL TUPÃ got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Nóbrega. Ricardo de Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Birol Refet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luiz Paulo Oliveira fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pirarema AD's protests and gave Luiz Paulo Oliveira a yellow card for diving instead. Luiz Paulo Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Leonel Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cacá Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo de Almeida having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cacá Carioca in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pirarema AD's Ricardo de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Carioca in the 83rd minute of play. Juninho Negri's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Geovanni Arruda firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Juninho Negri came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Pirarema AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juninho Negri couldn't finish the play. If Cacá Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FIEL TUPÃ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
