An unexpectedly hard shot by Birol Refet in the 72nd minute of play forced Aracruz's goalkeeper Mikolaj Kaszubowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikolaj Kaszubowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birol Refet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Luiz Paulo Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
