The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dé Botelho got free with Wesley Senna in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the game, Laranjal FC's Wellington Salgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wesley Senna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a little luck, 6 GOD's Wesley Senna got control of the ball when Wellington Salgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Laranjal FC's João Paulo Berger in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 6 GOD's goalie prevented a goal. If João Paulo Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Doni Salgado fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laranjal FC's protests and gave Doni Salgado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Doni Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, 6 GOD's Wesley Senna got control of the ball when Wellington Salgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, 6 GOD's goalkeeper Wesley Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doni Salgado. Wellington Salgado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Wesley Senna made a huge save. Wellington Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Wesley Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wesley Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Paulo Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 35 played minutes 6 GOD got a freekick which was hit by Davi Simões. In the 36th minute of the match, Wellington Salgado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wesley Senna was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Wellington Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Senna having to interfere. Laranjal FC's Emerson Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armandinho Lopes in the 44th minute of play. Emerson Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Wellington Salgado made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Salgado in the 51st minute of play forced 6 GOD's goalkeeper Wesley Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 GOD's Wesley Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Paulo Berger in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho Amaral in the 60th minute of play forced Laranjal FC's goalkeeper Emerson Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doni Salgado in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wesley Senna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wesley Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Doni Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Dé Botelho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Wesley Senna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wesley Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Paulo Berger went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Wellington Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Wesley Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emerson Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Amaral in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Silas Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the game, 6 GOD's Davi Simões nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emerson Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Amaral in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Laranjal FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while 6 GOD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
